HCM-12 (24) SF6 Fully Insulated Medium Voltage Ring Main Unit (RMU)

 

The HCM-12 (24) SF6 Fully Insulated Medium Voltage Ring Main Unit (RMU) is a compact and efficient solution for medium voltage distribution. Manufactured by Guang Dong Hao Cheng Electric Co., Ltd, this RMU is part of their Medium Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear (MV GIS) product line.

 

The RMU features a fully enclosed and sealed design, with the switchgear and main bus sealed in a shell filled with SF6 gas. This gas provides full insulation and expandability, allowing for easy combination and expansion of each SF6 insulated gas box on both the left and right sides.

 

For safety, the RMU is equipped with an explosion-proof channel at the bottom of the gas tank. This channel includes an explosion-proof diaphragm, effectively preventing any damage from high-pressure gas to people, cables, and other switchgear in the substation.
